About Me

Manufacturing work

From Manufacturing Lead to Front-End Developer

I am a Front-End Developer and Designer who thrives at the intersection of logic and aesthetics. With a background as a Manufacturing Team Lead, I bring a unique perspective to web development: I build digital experiences with the same precision and efficiency required to run a high-output production line.

Transitioning from manufacturing to design was a natural evolution for me. I spent years optimizing physical workflows to be as intuitive as possible for my team. Now, I use tools like HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to do the same for web users—creating interfaces that are not only visually striking but structurally sound.

My approach to design is deeply influenced by my manufacturing experience. I see a website as a system of interconnected parts, where every element must work together seamlessly to create a cohesive user experience. I treat a wireframe like an industrial blueprint; every pixel has a purpose.

"In manufacturing, downtime is the enemy. I carry that 'zero-downtime' mentality into my code."

My experience in leading QA processes means I don't just design I audit. I approach every project with a critical eye, testing and refining until the user experience is flawless. Just as I would troubleshoot a production line to eliminate bottlenecks, I debug my code to ensure optimal performance.

Currently, I am expanding my portfolio through the Code:You Web Development Pathway, mastering the art of creating responsive, high-performance websites. I’m looking to bring my unique blend of leadership experience and technical grit to a forward-thinking creative team.

"I spent 8+ years mastering the logic of the physical world now, I’m building the digital one."
